No Longer a Basement!

Jeff and I have a den! We had been trying to figure out what the call the "finished" part of the basement, and now we have it...its a den! And it has turned out quite cozy. Here is the before, a dirty room in the basement that seemed to have little potential:

And after days of painting by Jeff and 2 days spent putting in a new floor

 And we have hung a curtain between the blue basement (where the utilities are) and the den to make it a bit homier:

And of course the upgrade on the steps to the basement that Jeff cleaned and painted:

 We couldn't be happier with the results of all the hard work! Jeff and I plan to get a lot of use out of this great space. One more picture to close the post!
