No Longer Beige on Beige

Well, as you saw from my sneak peak the kitchen has gotten an upgrade. The beige walls and beige floor color scheme was very blah. Especially because they were similar shades of Beige and they made the blue counter tops really stick out like they didn't belong.

We put a few different grays on the wall, but ended up going with Gull Wing Gray from Benjamin Moore; the same gray we ended up settling on for our old kitchen in Rochester. We also replaced the light fixture in the middle of the room that was not meant for a house with anyone over 6ft living in it! I would just brush the bottle wearing sneakers and I am only 5'7"!

I apologize for the mess. We are still a work in progress, and a toddler cuts into my clean and stage for the picture time.

I'll try to get some daytime shots. It is so much lighter and brighter!

Projects are happening daily at this point. There is so much more to come!
