On December 19th, we went to the mortgage office, signed more papers than we could count. We went away for the holidays. Came home and signed more papers mailed to us by the mortgage processor (IRS release forms and other exciting documents). Signed and mailed back the bank's assessment of the property. Signed and mailed our interest rate lock in. The seller's lawyers pushed back the original closing date (1/18/13) and our realtor told us the lawyers would give us the new closing date. The original closing date came and went without a new closing date. And still we wait.
As of today we do not have a closing date. The good news, is the web site now says: Sale Pending!
We will take this as a sign and a step in the right direction. Hopefully, we will soon be able to post some good news! Cross your fingers!
How frustrating!!! *Fingers crossed* I'm sure everything is fine, but hopefully they don't make you wait too much longer!
